Update

Hello darlings!

I know, it’s been some time since I last posted, or gave an update on what’s going on.  Those of you who follow my on Facebook already know what’s kept me away for so long.  Those of you who don’t, here’s my excuse 🙂

My husband and I are expecting another little one come the end of August, the beginning of September.  This is number three for us, and the last one, lol!  I’ve had a really rough first trimester and beginning of the second, one that’s kept me in bed when I wasn’t somehow making it through my night shifts at the hospital.  I’ve been extremely sick.  There were several points when I was afraid I’d need IV fluids just to keep me hydrated since I couldn’t keep as much as water down.  Trust me, I would have much rather spent all of those hours curled up in bed writing some books!  My only saving grace, as with baby 1 and 2, was watching the Food Network, slowly torturing myself with the desire to eat anything, only to make myself sick just imagining putting any food in my mouth.  Weight was lost, again, but not as much as I had lost with my little one.  Actually, let me correct that.  Not enough to put me underweight.  I was riding that line at my last appointment, but happily stayed over so I didn’t get chastised by my doctor…in a loving, caring way 😀 (P.S. I absolutely love my doctor.  She’s an amazing person and has been through the emotional ringer with me and my failed pregnancies before I had baby 2).

Anyhow, needless to say, I have finally seen the light at the end of the tunnel…going into week 17.  I still have bumps in my newly found energy, and appetite, in addition to the one steadily protruding from my abdomen.  I still get nauseous and tired.  I’ve been very short of breath and dealing with funny palpitations, most likely due to my anemia (on top of everything else, lol).  However, I have FINALLY gotten back to reviewing where I have left off in my Love Your Dragon series.

Prior to the onset of my own rough and tumble pregnancy adventures, I was a few chapters away from finishing up book three.  A few chapters!  Ikes!  A little bit of Dante and Tyrus action happening on Dalistine, mmmmm-hmmmmm.

As for book four, I’ve know how that’s going to go since book two.  So, as long as there are no more severe bumps over the course of the next 23 weeks, I will hopefully be able to complete book three and four in a timely manner.  In fact, I’ve been itching to get back to writing.  So much so, I’ll sacrifice the headache-free days for a tension headache just to get some words on cyber paper.

I want to thank all of you for continuing to follow and support me.  It’s been difficult start to 2015, but I’m looking forward to the rest of this year as being one full of blessed gifts and tons of fun!

xoxo
