Happy 2015! What better way to ring in the new year than to fill up your new (or old) E-reader with a bunch of scorching hot reads?
I’m more than excited to introduce you to Zhett and Tallis, the star characters in Slow and Tender. This is the first book in my newest dragon shifter series, Love Your Dragon, and these two are definitely heating up the scene. Want a glimpse into these two hunky hot men?
I thought so!
Zhett is a born warrior, leader, and protector. He is a chaos dragon, and chaos he brings. Although he can control his unruly nature, he knows how to level the playing field…literally. As Tyrus, one of Zhett’s closest friends, describes, “He’s chaos, Tallis. His type doesn’t mix with minds. His bloodline is fierce. He’s a warrior by nature. A chaos dragon. They destroy to rebuild.”
“Like a phoenix?” (Tallis asking of Tyrus).
Yes and no. Zhett’s bloodline is fierce, revered, and feared. Chaos dragons destroy with the purpose of rebuilding bigger and better. So how does a creature like Zhett react toward his mate, a young dragon shifter by their years, and the heir to the royal throne?
Tallis opened his mouth to speak. Zhett growled and crushed his mouth against his mate’s. His dragon roared, the pleasure of his beast resonating down every fiber in his body.
For the first time in his life, he turned his back on the duty to his division to fulfill the duty to his heart.
Then there is Tallis, the youngest of four Hynesin heirs to the throne of Khorone. Tallis has no clue who he truly is, or what he is for that matter. He knows the difference between fantasy and reality. So, a dragon shifter? Ha! Yeah, right. He’s not buying it. Well, initially.
Tallis’s head dropped.
His eyes went wide. He shrieked, swatting at the half-crescent opaque scale. As his panic exploded, so did more scales and the beginning of his talons.
“Zhett, what is happening? Zhett, help me! Help!”
Zhett stilled Tallis’s swatting hand, pinning it to the mattress. He took Tallis’s chin between his thumb and finger, his talons still extended. Tallis’s eyes widened until a thick ring of white was visible around the iridescent silver-blue.
“M–m–my god. Y–y–your nails…”
“Will never bring harm to you. Touch them, Tallis. See that they are real. That everything I’ve been telling you is real.”
Tallis has a lot to digest, but Zhett has every intention of walking him through each obstacle. All, except for one.
I hope you enjoyed a little taste of Zhett and Tallis from Slow and Tender, Love Your Dragon 1. It’s release is Saturday, January 3rd, and currently available for pre-order. If you fall in love with Zhett and Tallis, be sure to keep your eyes out for Rough and Tumble, Love Your Dragon 2, coming soon.

Tallis Hynes knows he is different, but a dragon? After being kidnapped from his apartment during the night and locked in a cell with two strangers claiming to be his lost brothers, he is mercilessly exposed to secrets that had been withheld all his life. Unfortunately, their enemies want the power they possess, and won’t stop until they get it, at any cost.
Zhett Rhiodan, chaos dragon by birth and fierce warrior of the Khoronian race, is on a mission to find the four lost Hynesin heirs and return them to the king of Khorone. Like everything in his life, his mission is complicated when he locates three of the four brothers and learns Tallis is his mate.
