Great news. I’m working on the spin-off of Shadow Creek that will take place in Shadow Falls, the quaint little town that is partially owed by Raul Carney, and promotes lots of nature fun and small town excitement. If you are familiar with Shadow Creek, those books are full-length novels, and therefore, take me a bit longer to write. The Falls spin-off will be novellas, around the mid 20k range, stand-alone (more or less), and a little on the lighter side. I hope to have a few of them completed by the end of this month, beginning of next month, and submit them to Siren so I can work on the next Shadow Creek book between two other projects I’ve been committed to.
In addition to new projects, All or Nothing, Shadow Creek 4 comes out Monday the 17th! Super excited about this one as it gives us a look from a hunter’s POV 🙂 I’ll be working ton Aeson’s story next in the series, and his shifter mate.
I will be attending RWA’s National Conference this year, being held at Disney’s Swan and Dolphin. Saturday, the 29th of July will be the Literacy signing from 3:00-5:00pm, and this is open to the public. If you live in the Orlando area–heck, anywhere around the Disney area–stop by! It’s an awesome event for an even better cause, and you have an opportunity to meet some of your favorite authors.
On a closing note, I’m curious to hear from you, my readers and fans. What do you look for in a M/M romance novel? Do you enjoy the deep, twisted, emotional books? Or do you prefer simple, straight-to-the-point, boy-meets-boy, fall in love, happy ever after with a small conflict?
I love writing deep and crazy. Short and funny and light is a challenge, one that I do take on with a smile.
Leave me a comment. I’d love to hear your preferences!
